Editorial policy

What our labels mean, how we handle sources, and why some pages refuse to give you a clean answer.

Last revised November 6, 2026Public methodologyCorrections welcome

1. Evidence labels

A claim’s evidence label describes how the claim was sourced, not whether it is true inside the game’s fiction. Annabelle can be an unreliable narrator and still be accurately described as saying something.

Official

Official

The developer, publisher, official site, Steam page or first-party announcement.

Demo

Demo

Observed in the public demo or a released demo build. We identify the scene where possible.

Press

Press

A named outlet’s hands-on preview or reporting. The outlet is linked.

Community

Community

Player-reported information from Steam, Reddit or social platforms. Useful as a lead, not as proof.

Unconfirmed

Unconfirmed

Plausible interpretation, fan theory or unavailable detail. We do not present it as canon.

2. Sourcing rules

  • Release information is sourced to HO! Games or the current Steam listing.
  • Game mechanics are checked against the public demo wherever possible.
  • Press quotes are paraphrased or quoted with a link; we do not invent quotes.
  • Numbers such as review counts are labelled with the date they were checked.
  • If a source contradicts another, we show the conflict rather than choosing the more convenient fact.
  • We do not claim to have played content that is not publicly available.

3. Speculation and interpretation

Theories are allowed. They are labelled as theories, kept out of fact tables and never used to fill a database field. We may describe what a scene suggests, but we avoid saying what the game “really means” when the studio has deliberately left it ambiguous.

We also avoid diagnosing fictional characters with real-world conditions. A character can be abusive, dissociative or unstable as a narrative description without becoming a clinical case study.

4. Spoiler policy

Mechanics pages are kept spoiler-light. Walkthroughs and recipe pages carry clear spoiler warnings. Our ending tracker deliberately starts blank and does not invent ending names. We avoid putting major plot disclosure in page titles, meta descriptions or social cards.

5. Corrections

Send corrections to hello@aminima.wiki with:

  1. The exact page URL;
  2. The sentence or data point that is wrong;
  3. A first-party or otherwise reliable source;
  4. Whether you are the developer, a rights holder or a player.

We will correct verifiable errors and update the page’s checked date. We will not silently change a claim and pretend the original wording never existed; substantive corrections can be noted at the bottom of the affected page.

6. Media and attribution

Official screenshots, key art and logos are used for identification and commentary. They belong to HO! Games. The site’s own diagrams and layout are original. We do not use imagery from competitor wiki sites as if it were our own, and we do not fabricate screenshots.

If you are a rights holder and want an asset removed, email us with the file or page URL. We will review and remove it where appropriate.

7. Commercial independence

Nima Archive is not affiliated with HO! Games. It may display advertising in the future to cover hosting costs. Advertising placement is kept away from the editorial conclusion and does not influence which games we cover, how we rate evidence or whether a page says “unknown.” No developer or advertiser has editorial approval over this site.

We do not currently sell any digital product, key, account, guide or “secret” ending. If that changes, it will be disclosed on the relevant page.
