Status: scheduled, not released

HO! Games moved the game from October 8 to November 27, 2026. The Steam page and the official website currently agree on the November date.

Current release status

Am I Nima is scheduled for November 27, 2026. It is not yet available for purchase. The game is a single-player PC release distributed through Steam. HO! Games has not published a release-time countdown, price, pre-order bonus, collector’s edition or launch-day patch schedule.

This page records only what can be verified against the official site, the Steam listing or HO! Games’ own announcements. It will not describe a date as “confirmed” when the studio has only said “planned,” and it will not claim an unlock time that Steam has not published.

Release timeline

Playable demo released

The free demo launched on Steam with Chapter 1 and part of Chapter 2.

October 8 date announced

The Story-Rich Showcase trailer announced an October 8, 2026 release. The date was later superseded.

Release moved to November 27

HO! Games said the extra time would be used for polish, testing and bug fixes. It did not announce a new delay or an earlier date.

Current status checked

Steam and the official site still list November 27, 2026. No unlock time, price or launch trailer had been published at the time of this check.

Scheduled release day

Not yet verified. We will update this page once the store goes live.

We do not know why the game was delayed beyond the studio’s own explanation of extra polish and launch preparation. It would be speculation to attribute the move to a platform certification problem, a content issue, a competitor’s date or anything else.

Platforms: PC first, Mac unclear

The current full-game Steam pagesupports Windows and lists Windows 10 as the minimum OS. It does not currently mark macOS as a supported platform.

That conflicts with the historical record. The demo added a Mac build in March 2025, and a June 2026 hands-on preview described the game as coming to Windows and Mac. The current store page is the more recent and more specific source, so our working position is:Windows is confirmed; Mac is not confirmed for launch.

What time does it unlock?

Not announced. The release date is listed as November 27, 2026, but Steam has not published an exact unlock time. Our countdown targets midnight Pacific Time on November 27 as a date boundary, not as a guarantee that the game will be purchasable at that moment.

When the unlock time is published, the authoritative place to check is the Steam store page. Do not trust countdown timers on third-party sites unless they cite an official source.

Price, pre-orders and editions

No price has been announced. There are no store purchase options at the time of writing, and we found no official information about pre-order bonuses, deluxe editions, soundtrack bundles or regional pricing. The demo remains free.

We will update this page when the store listing adds a price. We will not guess “about $20” or convert an unannounced price from another currency.

Demo status

The demo is still available on Steam and is the best way to test the word mechanic before launch. It includes the opening basement scene, Nima’s bedroom, the bathroom and the build-up to a second major test. The developer has said save/load is planned for the full release, so do not expect the demo to preserve a long session.

Launch-day checklist

  1. Open the official Steam page and confirm the “Add to Cart” / “Play” button is live.
  2. Check the current platform icon before paying. Mac support is still unconfirmed.
  3. If you are buying for a low-spec laptop, compare it with the minimum requirements.
  4. Expect the demo’s save data not to receive an official full-game continuation; the developer described save/load as a full-release feature.
  5. Use the official Steam page rather than a third-party download mirror. We have no evidence of authorised giveaway sites.
